We believe yoga is transformational.
Yoga has the power to heal and strengthen individuals and in turn, whole communities. We believe that yoga should be shared with everyone, so we work to make it accessible and affordable.
This vision brought Project Yoga Richmond, a non-profit community space, into being in late 2010.
Our studio, which features a full schedule of all-donation based yoga classes, is located conveniently in the near West End of Richmond, at 6517 Dickens Place, Richmond, Virginia 23230. We are accessible by car, bus, or bicycle. Our donation-based classes and our special events fund offsite yoga programs for people in our community who might not otherwise have access to yoga. Visit our Frequently Asked Questions page for lots of answers to common questions about PYR and how we operate. There you’ll also find lots of ways to support PYR and the work we do.
